Sumario: | Marking a distance from the current processes of reconstruction of the “Baguazo history”, this article takes in to account the perception of the past and different interpretations of events proposed by protesters themselves, highlighting aspects that have until now been underestimated by official sources. Through their apparent contradictions, the temporal digressions and silences, these memories appeal like the most direct and in-depth testimony of a particular historical moment in the Alto Marañón. The combination of these different perspectives will help us develop an uncommon reflection: that is, the effort to understand a conflict situation starting from the perceptions and imaginaries of its social actors, the Awajún and “colonos” of the Alto Marañón. |
