Sumario:Baskil is a district of Elazığ province located at Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey and it is placed on the west of the province. Being located on the roads which interconnect Mesopotamia and Anatolia among the first cultural and civilization centers of the history, Baskil is an ancient settlement area. Zeyve, İzolu, Cihanbeyli, Parçikan, Direjan, Herdi and Aluçlu Tribes which had lived the nomadic life then became sedentary have adopted Baskil as their country. The carpets existing in Baskil Doğancık Village Father Hadji Hasan Tomb that is the concerned topic of the study have been donated to the mosque by people who are te members of Zeybe Tribe living in the district. Even though there have been many existing carpets in the tomb until a few years ago, just six carpets remained now. This study aims to bring to light hand knotted carpets existing in Baskil Doğancık Village Father Hadji Hasan Tomb belonging to Zeybe Tribe and to examine these carpets in terms of patterns, color and composition. Moreover, it is also aimed to reveal similarities between Zeyve Tribe carpets and the Eastern Anatolia Region carpets. A research and study trip has been organized in and around Baskil Doğancık Village Father Hadji Hasan Tomb and the carpets existing in the tomb have been photographed. Moreover, carpet sizes have been measured, knot quality has been determined, fiber types of threads have been determined and detailed research has been made about the patterns.
