Sumario:Recently due to the effect of New Public Management, improving the quality of public service has become an important issue. So the work is being carried out to improve the quality of public services all over the world. But the problem of the "excess of bureaucratic procedures" that the public sector faces is an obstacle to these efforts. Because of the bureaucratic procedures, both time and money losses are experienced. This situation reduces the quality of public service and reduces citizen satisfaction. So. The new methods are searched to reduce bureaucratic procedures in the public sector. İn this context application of e-government was developed as an application based on the information Technologies in Turkish Public Administration. With this application, citizens can benefit from a lot public services without going to public body. Thus time and money are saved. İn this paper first of all it was informed about the concept of e-government and benefits of e-government application. Then it was explained the history of e-government application that has been developed in Turkish Public Administration. Finally in light of statistical datas, it was analiyzed whether there is a relationship between the use of e-government and the reduction of bureaucratic procedures in Turkish Public Administration.
