Sumario: | In the era of knowledge competition among organizations grows, while fast changing and more complicated external environment initiate new problems of survival and development. The role of information and knowledge becomes more significant, therefore knowledge acts as a major resource necessary for providing company competitiveness. Changes that took place in internal and external environment made traditional organizational form incapable to meet the requirements of organizational development, thus a new organizational form came into being, i.e. organization based on knowledge. Proceeding from characteristics given to knowledge in the article the author analyzes different understanding by overseas scientists of organization based on knowledge connotation and shows general features of such organizations. |
