In this concept the aims of this study is to determine the academic procrastination levels of undergraduates and analyse this behaviour according to the variables, gender, faculty and grade. This research is a descriptive study in which qualitative research techniques is applied. Undergraduate students studying in a state university in Istanbul constitute the population of this study. Convenient sampling method is used and 583 undergraduates, 305 of which is female and 278 of which is male is contributed to the study.. In order to determine the academic procrastination level of the undergraduates an Tuckman’s Academic Procrastination Scale is used. The 16-item scale is adapted into Turkish by Uzun Özer, Sackes and Tukman. During the data analysis process t-test, one-way-ANOVA and Pearson Correlation test is used. The results of the study reveals that the academic procrastination level of undegraduates does not differ significantly in terms of gender however there are significant differences between academic procrastion level of students according to grades and faculties.
