Sumario:The Blood on the Mint Green Paper. The aim of the article is to explore how materiality and bodily experience can be studied through an attention to the senses. Based on Karen Barad’s conceptualization of agential realism I explore the materiality and bodily experience of gynaecological practices and egg donation through sensory ethnographic observations. My sensory experiences of the three events function as a prism to explore how material and bodily agencies co-constitute the specific phenomena at hand, and I thus offer a methodological approach to the study of gynaecological practices and egg donation which promises new analytical avenues for future ethnographic research on reproductive technologies.
