Sumario:The era between XI-XIII has been named as Old Turkic by some turcologists. Existence of Turkic speech has been revealed by the results of studies on works that belong to that era.In the mean time, Historical improvements of the words have been determined by etymological Works.Hodja Ahmet Yesevi who is one of the important representetives of Karahanli literature and his work named Divan-ı Hikmet also have a very important place in the history of Turkic language. Divan-ı hikmet is a work which pieces together Ahmet Yesevi’s philosophical and poetic wisdom. While Hoca Ahmet Yesevi and his Works have mostly been examined hitherto, there are not any studies like this one on the language of his Works. In this study, we aimed to compare Divan-ı Hikmet Turkic and Anatolian Oghuz Turkic by establishing correlation between the language of XIII and XX century. While There is a formal written language which belongs to Oghuz tribe in Anatolia, there is also a spoken language in different dialects. Most of the words in Divan-ı Hikmet can be found in the written language of Turkic of Turkey. Some of the words that do not belong to written language have not disappeared for all those long years, and do live in the Anatolian dialects. In order to determine these words a table with two column is composed. While in one of the columns the words in Divan-ı Hikmet are shown, in the other column the words living in dialects with the forms as they appear in the collation dictionary are shown. The page number and meaning of every word are given with reference to the collation dictionary. Thus,it is aimed to find the words that take part in Divan-ı Hikmet and used in the dialects of Turkic of Turkey but do not take part in standard language in the collation dictionary.
