The sensor was stable (<5% drift) for 9 h of continuous operation. The validation in real water samples showed that the sensor could reliably detect 0.95 mM of hydrogen peroxide in tap, river and lake water. The reliability of the sensor has been also proven on commercial peroxide formulations, assayed without pretreatment.
