To check these associations it was calculated the Pearson correlation between the quality of education in cities of the Minas Gerais State in Brazil, measured by the Index of Development of Basic Education (IDBE), and each of the other dimensions of human development, measured in accordance with the Minas Gerais State Social Responsibility Index (MSRI).
