Descripción
Sumario:Since the arrival of the Spaniards, the formation of the Chilean society was marked by the explicit and implicit violence of the invasion of a minority group and the need to establish a project of domination and social order.  Similarly to the military conquest of the territory, power structures were established and organized around administrative centers and fort-cities, without taking into consideration ethnicity or sex differences of the individuals who inhabited them.
