| Sumario: | This article analyzes the strategies of social reproduction of the Carreira Family in the period 1795-1935. Due to the great complexity of the diverse economic activities upon which their wealth was based -agricultural, industrial, commercial and the lending of money-, this study focuses exclusively on the strategies developed to acquire a vast territorial patrimony, the pivot around which the other productive activities revolved. The same developed within a wide geographical area in the north of the province of Malaga and the south of Córdoba and Sevilla; three areas which exemplify the diversity of Andalucía. The main source consulted for the present work is the Archive of the Carreira family. |
