Sumario:Introduction. Lichen planus (LP) is a mucocutaneous T-cell mediated disorder of unknown etiology. There is growing evidence that oxidative stress is an important player in the pathogenesis of LP. Therefore, we have investigated oxidative stress markers in LP and the influence of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, a frequently associated condition, on oxidative stress in LP patients.
