Families are given “Ocak” names to believe that they have the power to treat a certain disease with a number of methods. In these families, those who deal with disease treatment are called as “Ocakli”. For example, in the Takmak village of the Eşme in Uşak province, there is Irk Atma Ocagi where women who have no children because of health reasons or women who have lost their baby pre-birth or after birth can apply for having a child. In Turkish Ocak traditions, generally female Ocakli treat women and male Ocakli treat men who apply for that Ocak however Galip Yıldırım, who is exception of the general sitituation, is treating women as a male Ocakli. On the other side, Irk Atma Ocagi is a good example of how survived with some elements of traditional Turkish religion in the Islamic period. The subject of the article consists the description and analysis applications of Galip Yıldırım held for women having no children in his the ırk atma ocağı in Takmak village. The data of the article were obtained by Melin karataş who participated every stage of Galip Yıldırım's process during his traditional treatment session realized in 2012. The obtained data were evaluated in terms of History of Religions using descriptive and phenomenological methods.
