Sumario:Spatial and temporal characteristics of the institutions in general, and innovative development in particular are determined primarily by the research objectives, which correspond to different interpretations of the institutions as objects, environments, processes, and projects. The article analyzes the semantic differences between these treatments and their corresponding characteristics of institutions with an emphasis on the spatial and temporal features of innovative development.
