They shared the same passion for History, Classics and Philosophy. Their interest in other cultures demonstrates a vocation for universality. Above all else, they considered themselves as readers. In the worlds they created, doubt was the previous step for knowledge. They turned their environments into Literature and the truth in the poem took priority over their work as writers. On this aspect, Borges suggested: “What is lost by obscurity and the look transforms”.
