Sumario:Kharezmi Turkish has a significance in terms of being a transition period of Turkish language from Karahan Turkish to Chagatay Turkish. Nehcu’l Feradis, which is one of the important works of Kharezmi Turkish, is a voluminuos text written by an extended verbal repertoire and presenting the characteristics of the language of the period perfectly, in the field where Turkish written language started to advance in three different geographical regions in the 14th century. In this study, the elements of language regarding the terms of tailorship in the vocabulary of Nehcu’l Feradis are approached in the point of genre and meaning. The terms used in the text are chosen according to the tailor’s direct practice, the device and material used by the tailor for this practice and whether it is the creation of the tailor depending the meaning of the term. The terms are sorted out after having being classified according to the word types. Lastly, the semantic features and the usage of the terms of tailorship are explained.
