Sumario:The “Fome Zero” Federal Government program is one of the programs created to fight the hunger endemic problem In Brazil. More than only implementing public policies to fight hunger in an emergency way, we know that the problem requires deep structural transformation in the politic, economic and social fields. When we analyze the trajectory of that the hungry fighting programs in Brazil in the last 20 years have trailed, we can perceive that the changes of governments implied in solutions of the continuity of such policies. Theses sectionals cuts took place due to politics motivation, what has caused damages to the poorest population. Our research evaluated the hungry fighting policies in the Brazilian Vila Velha City, based on the implementation of the transferring income program, Programa Bolsa Família, in that town.
