Sumario:Although it is widely accepted by psychologists and psychiatrists that there is a correlation between depression and sexual dysfunctions, not enough studies have been conducted on this subject, the focus has been on the interaction between social and biological factors and sexual dysfunctions and therefore the relationship between sexual dysfunctions and depression. remained in the background. In addition, there are recent quantitative and qualitative data on the research. Thus, it is ensured that psychiatrists and psychologists, especially those who are interested in this subject, see the interaction between the two cases from different perspectives and emphasize that some criteria of symptoms of sexual dysfunction or depression and the symptoms in the diagnosis or treatment of patients presenting to physicians should be adequately evaluated.
