This study uses the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) regression of panel data from 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra in 2006-2019. The results of the study state that simultaneously, education, poverty, and unemployment have a significant and significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI). Moreover, partially, education has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI), while poverty has a negative and significant effect on the HDI, and so does unemployment.
