Another aim of the study is to analyze the level at which life satisfaction and general self-efficacy predict job search self-efficacy. This research is conducted with 281 female, 109 male ,a total of 390 university students who attended pedagogical formation education program in 2014-15 school year. For data collection, Life Satisfaction Scale (1991), General Self-Efficacy Scale (Aypay, 2010), Job Search Self-efficacy Scale (Çakır, Tagay, 2015) and a self- description form developed by the researcher. In the study, t-test, variant analysis and multiple regression analysis are used to test the hypotheses. According to findings, there is a difference between the marital status of university students, their success levels, age variable and their job search self-efficacy levels whereas there is no difference between gender and job opportunities in the department variables. According to regression analysis results, it is found out that for the girls it is life satisfaction and general self-efficacy that predict job search competency levels; for general score and for boys it is general self-efficacy.Mehmet Ali ÇAKIRFırat Universityarticlejob search selfefficacy, life satisfaction, general selfefficacySocial SciencesHSocial sciences (General)H1-99DEENFRTRJournal of Academic Social Science Studies , Vol 9, Iss 50, Pp 217-231 (2019)
