It discusses the relationship between the urban and housing policies and the enterprises implementation by private initiative, its mechanisms and effects on the production of urban space, taking as study case projects financed by the Residential Leasing Program (PAR) of Caixa Econômica Federal, in the city of Presidente Prudente, located in the west of Sao Paulo state.
