Sumario: | Highlights Prosthetic joint infections (PJI) represent one of the major problems in orthopedic prosthetic surgery. The diagnosis of prosthetic infections requires a multispecialist approach, from accurate anamnestic collection, to clinical evaluation and biomarkers of inflammation, to the use of imaging techniques.
