Sumario:Effect of curing characteristics matching of blending polyurethane rubber(MPU) and nitrile rubber(NBR) on properties of MPU/NBR blends was investigated. The results showed that the MPU phase was heat treated at 130 ℃ before the blending process to shorten the vulcanization induction period and made the curing characteristics similar to NBR. The interphase segregation of MPU and NBR could be effectively reduced, and the degree of vulcanization could be increased. The physical and mechanical properties of MPU/NBR blends were improved. When the heat treatment time was 8 min, the tensile strength of MPU/NBR blend increased by 37%, and the heat-resistant oil aging property was significantly improved.
