In this paper, we investigate the Iranians' (acem) economic activity in the area, based on the data we obtained from the Crimean Khanate Sharia Court Registry records. Persian traders who check in at the port of Trabzon are believed to have also reached the opposite shore of Crimean region and landed on Crimean ports to sell the commodities that they brought with them. According to the the Shari'a courts, Persian merchants reaching the Crimean land, from time to time, sold their commodities that they had brought from Anatolia or resold the commodities gained through exchange with Crimean merchants during their journey into the land and this is clearly expressed in the sharia courts records.
