However, Cappadocia is the region where the majority of Karamanlilar settled. The Karamanian Orthodox Turks who had settled in Cappadocia (Nevşehir City Center, Ürgüp, Mustafapasha) Derinkuyu (Suvermez, Yazıhöyük, Zile), Niğde (Gölcük, Misti/Misli Fertek, Sementra, Andaval, Hasköy, Aravan/Kumluca, Kurdanos/Hamamlı, Bor), Aksaray (Güzelyurt, Uluağaç), Kayseri (İncesu, Zincidere, Pınarbaşı, Endürlük, Develi) had to leave for Greece as of May 1st, 1923 in accordance with the “Convention and Protocol Relatingto Exchange of Greekand Turkish People” signed between the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and theGreek Parliament on January 30th, 1923. As a result of this forced migration, today settled in Greece in such regions as Thessaloniki, Larissa, Eviya Island, Kavala, Athens, Prea, Halkida left epigraphs in Karamanli, they left epigraphs in Karamanian Turkish as part of a great cultural heritage they had built in Cappadocia. This paper deals with such to pics as language features, functions of these epigraphs and the cultural heritage of Karamanian Turks.
