As the PhD title is the last ofthe academic career, it is questioned if the new doctor is qualified to train other masters andPhD. In this context, the objective of this research is to analyze PhDs curriculums comparingwith therequirements suggested by Capes to act as teacher in stricto sensu graduate programs.Thus, the method outlined was a descriptive study, and it was classified as field research,quantitative approach, statistical analysis, through descriptive measures. Forthis research, itwas delineated the business graduate programs from UFMG, UFRGS and UFSC.
