Was it because it was a Jewish theatre and it used Yiddish in public events? Did they close it for communist? Why didn't the Argentine Jewish community intervene in front of Perón government to lift the ban? Why did the government ignore the claims coming from the Argentine and the international theatre community to reopen the IFT?
