Sumario:Here, the authors develop and characterize a mouse microbiota composed of 15 strains representative of the intestinal microbiota found in C57BL/6J specific opportunistic- and pathogen-free (C57Bl/6J SOPF) mice and derive a new standardized gnotobiotic mouse model, called GM15, which recapitulates the phenotypes of SOPF or SPF animals in different animal facilities with improved reproducibility.
