Atomic scale observation of oxygen delivery during silver–oxygen nanoparticle catalysed oxidation of carbon nanotubes
Probing the dynamics of atomic scale catalytic processes leads to improved mechanistic understanding and catalyst design. Here, the authors use environmental electron microscopy and first-principles calculations to semi-quantitatively analyse silver nanoparticle catalysed carbon nanotube oxidation.
