This fruitful period is called the Golden Age of Turkish cinema. This period, which is characteristic of Turkish cinema and Turkish audience, has a decisive importance both in studies on Turkish cinema and in researches on television series. In the first parts of this article, the "audience-centered" production structure of Turkish cinema in the period 1960-1975 and the effect of this structure on the content of the films are presented. Then, its impact on the production and narrative of domestic serials in television channels since 1975; production is discussed in the context of the audience relationship and the reflection of this relationship on the content. Literature review method was used in the research and written sources related to the subject were used. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that there are similarities and contrasts between Turkish TV series and Turkish cinema between 1960-1975. The similarities are the traits arising from the traditional culture and cruise tradition that are in the common consciousness of the audience. It has been determined that the differences are due to the social, cultural, technical and aesthetic change experienced in our country after 1980, creating a new audience model. Especially the contents formed in the context of " consumption culture" have become the most important motif in domestic TV series. Nevertheless, the tradition of navigating the Turkish people's deep life culture, oriental, traditional anonymous way of expression and mentality will show its reflection in the most foreign ways in the future.
