Sumario: | This article characterizes the design regime at work in digital publishing where unconventional editorial practices are observed. It is based on the socio-semiotic analysis of two editorial commons that the reflection is developed: Movilab, the encyclopedia of third places, and the Ateliers de [sens public], an open access scholarly publishing platform. The notions of editorial commons and editorial device are used to underline the collaborative and community dimension integrated in this system, and the hybridization of technical and editorial activities. |
