| Résumé: | From past to the present, the reason for existence of the school which has a special place in the life of societies is to raise a good human being. But democracy, active citizenship, globalization, human rights and freedoms is loaded with knowledge and technology innovation, these all brings into reconsideration and question the mission of schools. Humanity is experiencing rapid change and transformation process, and all the elements that are involved in education with the first-degree are forced to change too. In this direction, the educational reforms in Turkey in 2005 identified the direction of change only as educational programs. However, for a permanent and effective change, makes it necessary to take its part of change in all the elements related to education. Schools that are the center for learning and teaching process should be open to change, self-renew structure. In this context, all structural components like physical, social, cultural, economic and administrative should have been re-considered. The purpose of this study is to determine the future characteristics of schools as basis features.
