A chloroplast structured photocatalyst enabled by microwave synthesis

Inspired by the favorable configuration of chloroplast, here the authors develop a microwave aided approach for the synthesis of similarly structured photocatalysts. The non-continuously distributed TiO2 nanomaterials threaded by carbon nanotubes enable a high efficiency for nitric oxide treatment.
