Sumario:This paper presents the way of proceeding graphically, through architectural drawing, during the rationalist period in the Canary Islands. For this purpose, we have used a paradigmatic figure among the architects who developed their professional activity in the islands, his name is Miguel Martín Fernández de la Torre, who estudied architecture at the Madrid School of Architecture. The architectural proposals made in his professional development have been carried out in the different islands of the archipelago, we are going to concentrate on some works of his large graphic production, these exemplify his production; some of these works are registered in the Iberian DOCOMOMO. The drawing of rationalism in the Canary Islands, seen through the drawings of this architect, is framed within the coordinates of Spanish rationalism, which confirms that the communication networks between professionals functioned in a fairly fluid manner; likewise, the contribution of international information is also confirmed.
