In conditions of fragility of the social structure, religion, drawing its energy, the power of persuasion from own foundations embodied in the concepts of “salvation”, “sin” and “repentance”, relevant redemptive practices, regardless of policy, retain their force, remaining the pillar of the social order, its last resort.A.
