Things a book cannot narrate are told by proverbs in short and brief. Sometimes they appear as the best lines of a poem, sometimes as graffitis they take their places in our minds and sometimes they decorates the headings of newspapers. With this aspect,it puts the cultural memory into words skillfully and thus mirrors the society. Although they are verbal literature products, when studied structurally, it is seen that all the verbs forming a proverbs come together in an order not randomly. And that shows the society forming the proverbs has the common memory and consideration system and this memory and consideration system shows its affect on the syntax. In general, syntax that comes together within a common frame of structure can be described as structure in use. Some effective elements of harmony such as rhyme and repeating words are important factors for proverbs using several figures of speech. As much as these elements of harmony we shouldn’t ignore contribution of structures in use to effective narrating.
