Sumario:Noninvasive cardiac radiotherapy may effectively manage ventricular tachycardia in refractory patients, but its radiobiologic mechanisms of action are unclear. Here, the authors show that photon radiation durably and favourably reprograms cardiac conduction in the absence of transmural fibrosis suggesting this could be the mechanism through which cardiac radiotherapy to modulates arrhythmia susceptibility.
