| Sumario: | Secretory carcinoma (SC) is a salivary gland malignancy which has recently been included in the World Health Organisation classification of head and neck tumours. This pathological entity was initially described by Skalova et al. as Mammary Analogue Secretory Carcinoma (MASC).SC predominantly affects males with a mean age of 46 years at presentation, however a wide age range is present (21–75 years old). It most frequently occurs in the parotid gland, however cases presenting in the lips, submandibular gland and hard palate have been reported.We describe the presentation and management of a case of secretory carcinoma which developed in the left buccal sulcus. |
