Sumario: | Fe (III) coordination compounds with Schiff bases and Fe (II) with dioxymines induce a state of oxidative stress in culture of Porphyridium cruentum expressed in a signifi cant reduction of biomass and accumulation of lipid peroxidation products (malondialdehyde). In these conditions is registered the β-carotene content fl uctuation, decreasing of phycoerythrin and signifi cantly increasing of phycocyanin content in biomass. Correlation analysis makes evident the phycocyanin implication in antiradical protection of Porphyridium cruentum in the condition of induced oxidative stress. |
