Résumé:eoi/doi Deposit-Electronic Object Identifier http://eoi.citefactor.org/10.11248/ehum.v5i2.871 RESUMO: Nesse breve ensaio, buscam analisar a possível relação entre a idéia de infância do homem e a idéia de infância da pedagogia procurando responder como foi possível que os pilares de uma cultura pedagógica tradicional, que surge durante um século em crise, perdurassem até os nossos dias, inclusive no caso da escola brasileira. Tomando a leitura do texto “As palavras e as coisas”, de Michel Foucault, como referência para a análise proposta, problematizamos, na primeira parte do texto, a expressão infância do homem e identificamos a demanda por uma pedagogia escolar no século XIX. PALAVRAS-CHAVE:Infância pedagógica; pedagogia escolar; Michel Foucault ABSTRACT: In this short essay, seek to analyze the possible relationship between man's idea of childhood and the idea of pedagogy of childhood trying to answer how it was possible that the pillars of a traditional pedagogical culture that arises during a century in crisis to persist to the present day even in the case of Brazilian school. Taking the text reading "The Order of Things" by Michel Foucault as a reference for the analysis proposed, we question, the first part of the text, man's childhood expression and identify the demand for school pedagogy in the nineteenth century.
