Sumario:The third sector has been consolidating in the country's economy, so it is essential that the state and society to become aware and control how public resources are managed. The objective of this research was to identify what are the changes in the management process, from a new board in a Foundation to Support Public University. The methodology is characterized by qualitative approach, descriptive, by outlining what are the management actions taken; documentary research, as a tool used by the Foundation Statute, and as to the procedures, it is a case study. Survey data were obtained through interviews with the Executive Director of the Foundation. As results stand out administrative actions, used by the new board, including: reset actions related to human resources to create a manual of internal procedures, and planning the actions of the Foundation. It was concluded that the use of process management has become a differentiator in the work of the Foundation, for making possible to treat the direction of the strategic issues without the need to be involved in operational matters, and that management actions can be applied in third sector organizations.
