| Sumario: | The geographic range of the saucer bug Ambrysus signoreti Stål, 1862 is reported and mapped for the first time. Results are based on records from approximately 1,700 specimens examined from seven collections. New distribution records are presented from the Mexican states of Coahuila, Hidalgo, Nuevo León, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, and Tamaulipas. This species is exclusively distributed in the eastern part of Mexico, in the Sierra Madre Oriental, Tamaulipas, and Veracruzan biogeographic provinces. |
