It’s also a fact that verse came into prominence more than prose in our literature custom which was formed in time. It’s been viewed that this literature ,which will be named as the classical era of our literature , started to lose its strenght in XIX th century – especially in the second half- and was not able to train up important names who would mark the era by their own styles after this date. In order to evaluate collapse period of old Turkish Literature it is necessary to understand all literary ideas and trends of this period and social, political, cultural structure and terms of this period. With XIX century, starting of a change in state institutes and even social structure can be obviously observed . intellectuals start to interested in West now. It’s absolute that, by means of Reform Era, there had been a change in social, cultural, political fields and as a reflection of this situation in literary mean as well. Reform, will create new expression method of its own. We will feature the ideas of the poets in the first era, which were formed after a six-century custom, in our writing.
