The geopolitical analysis shows victims (poor/black people from downtown Kingston) and beneficiaries (local politicians and wealthy businessmen). Although patterns driving economical, political and ethnic segregation are quite obvious – and responsibilities well known –, the cultural sphere highlights a subtle form of reproduction.
