Sumario:The article discusses the intensity of work on a global scale and its peculiarities in Latin America. The (in)visible increasing of working time over the world and its impacts on workers. Excessive working days, degrading conditions and labor comparable to slavery: the sugar/alcohol sector in Brazil and death at work due to exhaustion. Immaterial labor, creative and subsumption of the subjectivity of female workers under capitalist production in Argentina. Methods of working class resistance against processes of subjectivity deconstruction and work intensification.
