Sumario:In 2003, almost fifteen years after the fall of General Stroessner, a Truth and Justice Commission (CVJ) was held in Paraguay to investigate crimes committed under the dictatorship and during the transition. But the work of the commission, made ​​in the context of the political turning of the 2000s, also show a real ambition for the History. This article would show how the time of the CVJ is an important historiographical turning in the Paraguayan present.
