As for the methodology, a qualitative approach was chosen, in which interviews were conducted with graduates from a private university in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, these interviews being e-mailed and guided by a structured script. In the results, it was possible to visualize the interviewees' perception regarding the professional training provided by the university, and a point of relevance in this study is the fact that, although the institution is prepared for the labor market, there is still a way of approximation to be traced by the same, as a way to provide greater familiarity of its graduates with the professional performance.
