Surgical treatment of patients with chronic laryngitis, obligate and facultative pre-malignant conditions of the larynx treated in the department of otolaryngology of Municipal Clinical Hospital N 1 of Novokuznetsk and in the department of otolaryngology of Regional Clinical Hospital of War Veterans of Kemerovo during 2009-2012 was conducted. Patients of thefirstgroup had endolaryngeal surgery with direct microlaryngoscopy using surgical microscope and microsurgical tools, patients of the second groups - with indirect laryngoscopy. Assessment of the results of surgical treatment was carried out on the basis of the re-examination of patients in one year (surveys, examination and fibrolaryngoscopy). It was established that use of direct microlaryngoscopy with surgical microscope and microsurgical tools with staining of changed parts of larynx mucous membrane allowed to achieve better visualization when conducting surgical treatment and as a result to reduce the percentage of patients with the development cancerous process in the larynx significantly. Comparison of treatment outcomes in two groups with and without use of microsurgical technique confirms the reliability of this conclusion.V. V. PavlovD. G.
