The authors present their vision of the positive development of the university as its progressive movement, as well as maintenance and improvement of its competitive position without moving to a new model of departmentation, which, in the opinion of the authors, makes it possible to strengthen the directions of educational and scientific research activity without painfully breaking the habitual way of governing the university. Certain critical judgement of the authors pursues the objectives of search, discussion and launch of the internal mechanisms of strengthening of competitiveness of the University.Irina A.
