Summary:The modern foreign policy of modern Russia, and its discussion seem to be situational, profoundly contradictory and illogical. The study of Russian philosophy of history allows us to understand the content of contemporary political discourse, and to see the foundation of the current foreign policy context that is formed around the Russian state. Purpose – review and study the main dialectical trends of Russian philosophy of history related to the present. Methodology: the author uses dialectical, comparative, structural and semantic methods. Results: the article shows the dialectical principles of development of Russian philosophy of history and their impact on modern political science and political context. Practical implications: the results can be applied in scientific politological and social-philosophical studies, and in the course of teaching of social and Humanities disciplines.
